Why Give?
The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives. Whether you are giving 10% of your income or going beyond and giving sacrificially we view tithes and offerings as another form of worship – giving back a portion of what God has already blessed us with.
Make a Difference Through Giving
We believe that you can make a difference through your giving at Woodland Park Church of the Nazarene, no matter the amount. Jesus talked about this in Mark 12, “And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, ‘Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.'”
